Travis Scott is opening the door for Houston students interested in fashion.
The 29-year-old has announced a partnership with New York’s famed Parsons New School of Design to launch a fashion program for high schoolers. They’ll be able to access Parsons courses online for free and even earn an online certification, according to Vogue.com.
Scott also has founded the Cactus Jack Foundation to provide creative and education opportunities and resources for college students. Included in his vision is the HBCU Waymon Webster Scholarship, named after his grandfather who graduated from Prairie View A&M University, a historically black college. The scholarship will be available to students enrolled at a “handful” of HBCUs that include Texas Southern University, Grambling State University, Morehouse College, Howard University and Prairie View A&M University.
In August, Scott announced a collaboration with McDonald’s.
