WOODBRIDGE – In conjunction with the reopening of many stores inside Woodbridge Center on Monday, the mall will welcome a new women’s fashion boutique.
Versona will open its first store in the township Monday in Woodbridge Center, according to a release.
The reopening of the mall is the result of an announcement made by Gov. Phil Murphy last week that indoor portions of retail shopping malls may reopen to the public at 6 a.m. Monday.

“Many of the stores inside the mall will be opening Monday, joining the anchor department stores that are already open – JCPenney, Boscov’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Macy’s,” Amy Bellisano, the mall’s senior general manager, said.
Restaurants at the mall offering outside dining are Applebee’s and Bahama Breeze, Bellisano said. A host of other restaurants are offering curbside pickup, she said.
The mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Bellisano said.
Versona is a women’s fashion boutique offering apparel, jewelry and accessories. Customers will enjoy an upscale shopping environment in an easy-to-shop format, the release said.
“Versona promises to be a fun shopping experience where women can find unique, on-trend styles at a great value,” said John Cato, chairman, president and CEO of The Cato Corporation. “We are excited about our newest Versona store opening at Woodbridge Center.”
Versona stores employ about 25 store associates. The store manager will be Marissa Bello of Staten Island, New York.
“We’re very excited to have a brand new store opening with us and Versona looks lovely,” Bellisano said. “People will really enjoy shopping there.”
Located on the lower level of the mall next to Dick’s Sporting Goods, Versona will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Versona is also opening a store in Paramus.
