Shia LaBeouf’s ‘creeper’ tattoos are the real deal for new movie

Hope they were worth it!

Shia LaBeouf has been steadily covering his torso with increasingly elaborate tattoos for some time now — and it’s been revealed that he did so for a role.

The 34-year-old “Honey Boy” star is at the center of David Ayers’ forthcoming “The Tax Collector,” and Ayers claimed that LaBeouf’s most recent ink was acquired during the film’s production.

Speaking to Slashfilm, Ayers was quick to hype his star’s commitment to his roles. “He’s the most committed to body and soul. He had a tooth pulled on [Ayers’ 2014 WWII drama] ‘Fury,’ and then on ‘Tax Collector,’ he got his whole chest tattooed.”

LaBeouf’s “creeper” ab-rocker and the Madonna-embracing-clown portrait have been aired out plenty before Ayers revealed that they were part of “Tax Collector.” The actor’s public workout routine made sure that people were speculating about the new ink as early as April 2019. (One outlet speculated earlier this year that the woman portrayed is his mother.)

“The Tax Collector” is out August 7.
