More COVID-19 testing sites open in south King County as positivity rate rises

SEATTLE – Doctor Jeff Duchin isn’t taking this season of the pandemic lightly. “The trends we’re seeing should be a wakeup call for all of us,” Duchin says. While theInstitute for Health Metrics and Evaluation has projected COVID-19 deaths will only slightly rise in Washington going into 2021, Duchin says the amount of positive cases we’re seeing in King County mean numbers could change. “The potential for a significantly larger outbreak then we’ve yet seen is real,” Duchin said.
