Kim Kardashian West is continuing to expand her billion-dollar empire, and her next endeavor is something we would have never guessed.
A few weeks after sources revealed that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star plans to double down on her KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance brands’ success by branching into skincare, insiders have shared that Kardashian West is cooking up even more for her spawling business.
Kim Kardashian West is looking to cash in on home good products
Move over Martha Stewart because Kardashian West is getting ready to tackle the world of home goods — that is, if her most recent trademark gets approved.
According to a recent report by TMZ, the reality star’s legal team has filed new documents to use “KKW Home” for business purposes.

The paperwork states that Kardashian West would like to put “KKW Home” on various household products, including bath mats and rugs, towels, shower curtains, linens, comforters, blankets, scented oils, room fragrances, candles, body and loofah sponges, and much more.
While the reality star has yet to announce her plans to expand her brand with home decor, this isn’t the first time we heard of her plans to grow her already booming business.
On August 17, the mom of four filed to trademark “KKW Skin” in order to sell a line of moisturizers, creams, cleansers, toners, and a slew of other skincare products.
In addition to cashing in on skincare, Kardashian West may also be planning to open a brick-and-mortar KKW Skin boutique in the future. TMZ reported that a second filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for “retail store services” was added to the lineup.

Trademarking is nothing new for Kardashian West.
Long before she applied for the rights to “KKW Home” and “KKW Skin,” the KUWTK star went through the process of trademarking all three of her kids’ names to ensure they will be protected for years to come.

Following the birth of her son, Psalm, on May 9, 2019, sources revealed that Kardashian West’s legal team filed for trademark protection under her company for the name of her youngest child.
The trademark would be used on products such as hair accessories, calendars, books, magazines, and even clothes.
Just one month after she applied for the rights to her youngest son’s name, Kardashian West attempted to trademark the brand name “Kimono” for her new line of shapewear.
However, doing so didn’t go over too well with her followers as they slammed the reality star for trying to make money off the name of a traditional garment integral to Japanese culture for centuries.
After being faced with immense backlash from critics accusing her of cultural appropriation, Kardashian West officially changed her “Kimono” shapewear line name to “Skims.”
The KarJenners as a whole have applied for over 700 trademarks
Kardashian West may be a trademarking connoisseur, but she’s not the only one in her family who protects her personal brand this way.
Kardashian West’s family members, including her sisters Kylie, Khloé, Kendall, mother Kris Jenner, and husband Kanye West, have all applied for trademarks in the past.
In fact, the family has sought out so many different trademarks that they have more than 700 applications filed between them.
“They don’t necessarily know what they’re going to market, so they want to protect those proactively,” trademark attorney Jana Gouchev told Forbes in 2019. “Anything you’d put the Kardashian name has so much value because of that name, so that’s why they want to protect in any category possible they can think of. Because they don’t want anyone else to infringe on their trademark.”
Though there are hundreds of Kardashian-Jenner trademarks out there, we have a feeling that there will be many more applications filed for the family in the future.
