Iron Man VR has a PS4 demo that is available now

Sony Interactive Entertainment has done us the courtesy of releasing a demo for the much-anticipated game on the PlayStation Store.

In this demo we will get plenty of amazing content including:

  • The “Malibu” tutorial mission
  • An interactive Sark Jet cinematic starring none other than Tony Stark himself, Friday and of course the lovely miss Pepper Potts
  • The “Out of the Blue” Stark Jet gameplay mission
  • The Flight Challenge optional mission

All of these missions are just a very small slice of the game but the developer promises that “by the end of the Out of the Blue mission, you’ll start to feel like Iron Man as you fly, shoot, and rocket punch through some of Tony’s ghost-hacked, Stark Tech drone problems.”

In case that wasn’t enough for you, as an added bonus you can download and play a free demo to unlock the exclusive Molten Lava Armor Deco when you purchase the full game.

Sony will also be launching the PlayStation VR Marvel’s Iron Man VR Bundle along with the PS VR exclusive game on 3 July. This bundle will include:

  • A PlayStation VR headset
  • PlayStation camera
  • Two PlayStation move motion controllers
  • Marvel’s Iron Man VR Blu-ray disc
  • PS VR demo disc

The game is described as being an upcoming single player shooter video game that was developed by the American studio Camouflaj and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4’s PlayStation VR headset.

The game is based on the highly popular Marvel superhero character Iron Man who is actually successful businessman Tony Stark.

The game was revealed on March 25, 2019 during SIE’s first “State of Play” online presentation. The game features a new suit for Iron Man designed by Adi Granov. On April 2, 2020, the developer announced that the game would be delayed indefinitely due to the pandemic, but then on 12 May this year in a surprising move, it was announced that the game is set to be released on 3 July much to the elation of Iron Man fans everywhere.

A free demo is always an awesome way to get into any new game, and “test the waters” to see if this game “suits” you.
