Cuomo: parts of Rochester could become orange zones

Rochester, N. Y. (WHAM) – Parts of the City of Rochester could become orange zones, according to Governor Andrew Cuomo. In a micro-cluster, certain COVID-19 safety restrictions are put in place to help mediate areas that have a spike in the virus. If a geographic area has 7-day average positivity rate above 3% for 10 days and 10 or more new daily cases per 100,000 residents, that area qualifies for orange zone status.
